Founder, Shareholder and Managing Director
Mr. W. A. Anura K. Wijesinghe is a Chartered Chemist (M I Chem C) with a B.Sc. from the University of Kelaniya, and brings over 30 years of leadership experience in Sri Lanka’s manufacturing sector.He has held senior leadership roles at prominent organizations including John Keells Group, Gintota Plywood, Hayleys Dipped Products PLC, and Hayleys Fibre PLC, gaining extensive expertise in manufacturing operations, business management, and industrial compliance.
Mr. Wijesinghe holds additional qualifications including Diplomas in Business Management, Maintenance Management, and Industrial Relations Law, reflecting his broad skillset in both technical and managerial domains.
As the Founder, Major Shareholder, and Managing Director of Botany Max Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, he provides strategic vision and operational leadership, guiding the company in the production and global distribution of premium coco peat grow bags. Director – Finance
Mr. Eranga Mahesh is a Chartered Accountant of Sri Lanka , Associate Member of CPA Australia and a graduate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Special). He brings over 10 years of professional experience across Sri Lanka and the Middle East, with a strong background in finance leadership, governance, and strategic management. Throughout his career, he has held senior finance roles including Accountant, Finance Manager, Financial Controller, and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), gaining extensive exposure to both operational and strategic financial management. His expertise spans auditing, financial management, budgeting, financial planning & analysis, internal controls, and corporate finance.
At Botany Max Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Mahesh provides strategic oversight across finance, compliance, and governance, ensuring the company operates in line with international best practices and quality standards such as ISO and GMP. His strong financial discipline and risk-focused approach support sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Mr. Geeth Ramasinghe holds an MBA from UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia and brings over 10 years of experience in Operations Management and Finance Management across Sri Lanka, Maldives, and the UAE. His industry expertise spans coconut husk processing, hospitality, and general trading, giving him a strong foundation in managing both operational processes and financial performance. He is skilled in optimizing production workflows, controlling costs, and ensuring business efficiency across multiple sectors.

Engineering professional with an NDT from the University of Moratuwa and over 20 years of experience in machinery fabrication and industrial construction within the fibre, cocopeat, and coconut products industries. A well-established entrepreneur in Sri Lanka’s coconut triangle. Also holds a B.Sc. in Criminology & Justice from the University of Colombo and serves as a Welfare Director and Consultant to the Sri Lanka Prison Service. Oversees engineering, plant development, and infrastructure at Botany Max Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. An Attorney-at-Law practicing Civil Law with a focus on Commercial and Corporate matters.
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Dublin, Ireland and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) specialising in Commercial Law at the University of Colombo. A registered Company Secretary and Notary Public in Colombo. Ensures effective governance, compliance and legal oversight for Botany Max Lanka (Pvt) Ltd bringing together legal expertise and business acumen.

Chief Human Resources Officer
Mr. Nandun Shayamal holds a BA (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire (UK), and a Diploma in Psychology from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura, Sri Lanka. He brings over eight years of professional experience in Human Resources Management, gained through work exposure in Sri Lanka and the UAE.
At Botany Max Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Shayamal is responsible for managing Human Resources functions, including HR operations, talent management, employee relations, and policy implementation, supporting a structured and compliant workplace environment. Mr. Kokila Sandaruwan is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Sri Lanka Registered Auditor, holding a BCom degree from SLIATE. He brings over 9 years of professional experience in auditing, finance management, and budgeting, with hands-on exposure across Sri Lanka and the UAE.He has worked in diverse sectors including auditing, manufacturing, and plantations, gaining expertise in financial planning, risk management, compliance, and operational finance.

Mr. Dilhara Hasitha is a seasoned business professional with over 15 years of cross-functional experience across Sri Lanka and the Maldives, combining strong expertise in marketing strategy, commercial management, and financial analytics. His industry exposure spans manufacturing, import & distribution, professional services, and hospitality, enabling him to bring a data-driven and market-focused approach to business growth.He holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance and has completed the Certificate in Accounting and Business (CAB II) – CA Sri Lanka, and is a Finalist of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AATSL). His strong financial background allows him to align marketing strategies with profitability, cost efficiency, and long-term value creation.
